Additive Manufacturing (AM) stands at the forefront of the disruptive innovations that allow competitive and sustainable economic growth in Europe. It allows the production of complex-shaped products with combination of functions and/or replacing the assembly steps for products with multiple components.

In this webinar, we will briefly introduce the different technologies of AM with their used materialsapplications, as well as their advantages and disadvantages. The impact of additive manufacturing on the market will be analyzed with a demonstration for the important market segments in Central Europe that are influenced by AM. Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) will be introduced to some opportunities that are provided by European initiatives in the field of AM.
